           The SCOA provides a wide variety of services for Sabine Parish residents 60 years of age or older. We offer the following services: Home Delivered Meals, Transportation (In town, Leesville, Natchitoches and Shreveport), Congregate Meals, Information and Assistance, Material Aid, Exercise Classes, Arts & Crafts, games, etc., wellness and much more. Even though we offer all of the services mentioned above and more, there are still so many residents that either do not know what we do or that we event exist.

          The SCOA is requesting these funds to widen our marketing (marketing products, advertisement, signs for the sites), pay for the C-1 and C-2 Meals that are not covered by GOEA.

          We are requesting the additional funding to enable us to inform the public of the services we provide, which in turn, helps increase our senior's socialization, well being, proper nutrition and over all independent living.
