           HAMPCO, INC. was established as a 501(c)3 Organization in 1997 t0 act as a fiscal agent District 17. HAMPCO'S goal has always been to protect and serve the people of the community. HAMPCO'S vision is to builder stronger communities, by addressing the needs of families as a whole whenever possible We are conscious of the changing demographics in our communities and certain concerns that need to be addressed, in order for a more positive outcome. The idea of sponsoring programs in the area where there are mostly single parent families, who is supporting the families on minimum wage job or government assistance. These individuals are the ones usually receiving free lunch. These initiatives will target the families as a whole, from providing skills for making financial decisions, to mentoring and leadership programs for our teens, to assisting with furthering individual educations through scholarships and by supporting schools by supplying back to school supplies and support for extra curriculum activities. Hampco also has partnership with Northeast Louisiana Sickle Cell Foundation to help with research and medicine and also Partners with(SCORE) Senior Community Outreach Entity to help with meals and other activities designed to enrich seniors(60 years and older)concerning health, eating and living and where the seniors can receive support services and participate in activities that foster their independence, enhance their dignity, and encourage in and with the community.

          HAMPCO INC.'s mission is to educate, mentor and enhance socioeconomic and healthcare skills of persons through program initiatives and community partnerships; furthermore, our initiatives will improve the quality of life by elimination of causes and consequences of deficiencies in the Northeast Louisiana Region.

          In an effort to promote it's mission, HAMPCO- channels funds into the community by administering programs geared toward providing citizens with educational enhancements-mentoring, financial literacy, opportunities for academic competition, through the nurturing of the Arts with our youth, enhancing the relationship between parents and their children, feeding the hungry and destitute for our senior and youth. Sponsoring fundraisers for Sickle cell by sponsoring a yearly run/walk a thon and donating the funds to the foundations. Providing host nutritional meals for our seniors.
