           This will be used to upgrade all components necessary to bring us up to date electronically. This would include an audio system that would guide patrons through the museum, a video kiosk system to handle all sign in information to be tabulated and used for future endeavors. We will upgrade our computer room to handle Virtual Reality training along with 3D printing training. We will also use some of the funds to pay specialized personal for various disciplines that need to be taught.

          The museum was founded to research, collect, preserve, and present the visual art, historical documents, and cultural artifacts that reflect the lives, legacies, and ongoing contributions of African Americans in the region. It serves as a vital institution in the cultural landscape of Northeast Louisiana, illuminating the rich tapestry of Black life—from the enduring struggles of the past to the creative and civic achievements of the present

          The goals are to assimilate the rich history of northeast Louisiana to the general public and to help those less fortunate to learn skills to help them to thrive in this new environment.
Our objective is to make this a more informed community and to discover the rich diversity of this rea.
