This project, Serving Community Connection, will upgrade the aging 20-year-old pedestrian bridge and renovate the tennis facility to expand pickleball courts, creating a safer, more accessible, and connected recreational environment for residents of all ages and abilities.
By improving campus access and expanding tennis and pickleball facilities, the YMCA will strengthen community connection and promote adaptive sports inclusion. The campus regularly hosts athletes with physical disabilities, including paraplegics, quadriplegics, amputees, and individuals born with physical differences. These shared experiences on the courts break down barriers, foster friendship, and showcase the power of sport to unite and uplift.

By providing accessible courts and amenities, the YMCA will strengthen community bonds, support physical and mental well-being, and demonstrate the power of sport to unite and uplift individuals across all backgrounds and abilities.

Improve Accessibility: Renovate the pedestrian bridge and campus pathways to meet ADA standards, ensuring safe and inclusive access for all users.
