          Sci-Port Discovery Center is a 92,000 square foot educational resource which has been located in downtown Shreveport since 1998.
Mission: Sci-Port Discovery Center provides a fun, immersive environment for people of all ages to explore and actively engage in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Sci-Port serves to spark curiosity and inspire a passion for lifelong learning by utilizing hands-on, scientific discovery activities.

Funds will be used to upgrade a variety of exhibits and areas within the Center. In addition, they will be utilized to support programming, outreach initiatives and exhibits designed to provide interactive science and technology information and activities. Funding will be utilized to ensure Sci-Port remains a highly valued educational resource for Louisiana citizens, especially for the school systems who rely on the Center to provide activities aligned with Louisiana standards of education.

          Broaden the Educational Footprint by delivering relevant programming which aligns with state standards, revitalize exhibits and exhibit spaces, offer new member and non-member services and activities, increase memberships and invest in technology upgrades.
