Art. 793. Records
A. The confidentiality of Family in Need of Services records, including the existence
of such records, shall be preserved and shall not be disclosed by any record custodian without
the consent of the child or order of the court in accordance with Article 412.
B. Records and reports concerning any Families in Need of Services matter shall not
be identified, maintained, or otherwise handled by the court or by any other agency or person
as a juvenile delinquency or criminal matter.
