§648.1. Special School District; administration
A. The Special School District shall be under the administration and supervision of
a superintendent who shall be appointed by the district's board of directors, subject to
confirmation by the Senate.
B. The salary of the superintendent shall be fixed by the district's board of directors
and shall not exceed the amount approved for such position by the legislature while in
session.
C. The superintendent shall exercise his duties and functions under the oversight of
the district's board of directors.
