           Law and civic education throughout Louisiana through lawyers/judges in the classroom programs, Law Day and Constitution Day programs, professional development workshops and educational training workshops for teachers. This funding will allow the LCLCE to include the "Order in the Court" two-day teachers' training workshop, that explores the role of each court, from the magistrate/city courts up to the US Supreme Court.

          The public purpose is to assist educators bring law and civic education in to Louisiana classrooms and to create and assist programs that create a better understanding and knowledge of civics and the law throughout Louisiana.

          To disseminate practical application and information of law and civic education curriculum, texts and programs to educators and students across Louisiana. To conduct professional development workshops for Louisiana educators. To conduct educational training workshops for Louisiana educators.
