Rule 1.3.  Telephones and pagers

A.  No person shall operate an audible wireless telephone or audible pager in the House Chamber during a joint session of the legislature.

B.  This Rule shall not apply to the sergeant at arms or a person acting at his direction, a member of the capitol police or a law enforcement officer on duty, or a licensed medical person on duty.
