           HAMPCO,INC was established as a 501C(3) Organization in 1997 to act as a fiscal agent for District 17 under the leadership of the former State Representative Willie Hunter, Jr. HAMPCO's goal has always been to protect and serve the people of the community. HAMPCO's vision is to build stronger communities, by addressing the needs of families as a whole whenever possible. We are
conscious of the changing demographic in our communities and certain concerns that need to be addressed, in order for a more positive outcome. The ideas of sponsoring programs in the area where there are mostly single parent families, who are supporting the family on minimum wage jobs or government assistance. These individuals are the ones usually receiving free lunch. These programs initiatives will target the family as a whole, from sponsoring hot meals for the seniors, to providing skills for making good financial decisions, to mentoring and leadership skills for our teens, to assisting with furthering individual educations through scholarships and supporting schools by supplying back to school supplies and support for extra curriculum activities.

          HAMPCO INC's mission is to educate, mentor and enhance socioeconomic and healthcare skills of persons through program initiative and community partnerships; furthermore, our initiatives will improve the quality of life by elimination of causes and consequences of deficiencies in the Northeast Louisiana Region.

          In an effort to promote its mission, HAMPCO channels funds into the community by administering programs geared toward providing citizens with educational enhancements, mentoring, financial literacy, opportunities for academic competition, through the nurturing of Arts with our youth, enhancing the relationship between parents and their children, feeding the hungry and neglected destitute for our seniors and youth.
