Provide a summary of the project or program:
Develop a full (300' x 300') city block in the West 30's community into a planned unit development (PUD) that includes 20 single family homes around the perimeter of the city block, with common space in the interior for the residents of the 20 homes to use. The homes will be affordable for sale to lower and very low income families. The project will be called Imagine Place and it is designed to help bring an end to multi-generational poverty that is pervasive in the West 30's community in Covington through real estate ownership. The 20 families who purchase these homes can apply the monthly payments to paying down the mortgage and building equity so that over 20-30 years they will have created wealth for themselves rather than just paying rent as they currently are doing.

What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
Serve very-low and low income families through the provision of owned affordable single family homes in the West 30's community of Covington that will help these families create personal wealth for themselves and break multi-generational cycles of poverty.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
Through home ownership, the monthly housing payment that each of the families will make goes in part toward paying down a mortgage and creating equity in the home. Over 20-30 years, the families will create substantial value in the homes they have purchase and have been making monthly payments on.

What is the proposed length of time estimated by the entity to accomplish the purpose?
It is ongoing and differs for each family, but the wealth creation is a long term process encompassing 10-30 years
