          The facility is a public arena located in East Feliciana Parish which facilitates and supports youth organizations, 4-H and local equine and rodeo events. The funds will allow for the ground to be improved and maintained in the arena making it a safer and more useful facility for all types of events.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          Our goal is to bring in new soil/sand that is better suited for an arena surface as opposed to the red clay that is currently present at the site. We are hoping to improve the grounds with the state funding to make a safer better place to ride and all to enjoy. We are an all volunteer facility and the funding is essential for the necessary improvements.
