The W.I.S.E. Foundation is not just a group of volunteers, but a community of individuals dedicated to building resilient communities. Its members, who volunteer their time, talent, and resources, are the backbone of the organization's efforts to strengthen Louisiana's infrastructure in some of its most indigent populations. The foundation's commitment to community engagement is evident in its volunteer board of directors, which identifies priority issues and finds the needed resources, ensuring that the community's voice is heard and its needs are met.
W.I.S.E. Foundation was established to serve as a resource and public service partner to support, supply, and address the need for critical services and tackle societal issues that are not currently or sufficiently being addressed by the government or the private sector.
Most of these activities take place at the Foundation’s community site in Iberville parish. However, the space needs some interior and exterior work to continue to provide these services to the local community. As well as, additional tables and chairs to improve efficiency of its operations and the services they render.
The W.I.S.E. Foundation proposes to significantly impact Louisiana's communities through its diverse and effective programming activities. These programs, which have already made a substantial difference, are specifically tailored to address the needs of youth, young adults, professionals, and seniors across its service areas, which include Iberville, West Baton Rouge, St. James, Ascension, and Assumption parishes.
Some of the programming includes: a leadership institute, safe communities project, restoring public trust campaign, living the American dream, family support resources, youth and elderly programming, surviving loss, just to name a few.

• Tailor Made Leaders
The program trains and educates aspiring leaders through a leadership academy. Being an effective leader means responding to challenges with intelligence, strategy, and expertise. Leadership skills help leaders lead teams to success and enable them to improve organizations while actively increasing their confidence and decision-making ability.
• Safe Communities
The program provides education on safety practices to local residents and provides resources to them. The program fosters communal relationships with local law enforcement, elected officials, and service providers. These relationships help to restore public trust. Some of the topics addressed include human trafficking, learn your neighbors, building community relationships among residents, and safely discarding chemicals.
• WISE Academy
The WISE Academy is a program for local high school girls to help them navigate their teenage years. We cover a wide range of topics including peer pressure, bullying, time management, stress, depression, etc. The goal is to equip our youth with the skills and knowledge they need to grow into strong, productive citizens who contribute to their community, state, nation, and world. The mentors work with the girls monthly.
• The American Dream for Rural Louisiana
This program highlights resources for opportunities in rural Louisiana where skills like farming, fishing, hunting, and using your God given talents are celebrated to earn a living and provide for your family. The goal is to celebrate and help local individuals learn how to properly market and build their brand locally.
• WISE Donations
The WISE Foundation, with the support of its members, gives back to the community each year. These donations are made to organizations, families, and school-age children in Iberville, Ascension Assumption, St. James, and West Baton Rouge parishes.
