Questions About Committees

How do I view the broadcasts of committee meetings?

All committees that meet in House committee rooms (those with numbers, i.e. Committee Room 1, etc.) as well as those in Senate committee rooms A, C, E, F and the John J. Hainkel, Jr. Room, can be viewed over the internet.

On the home page, the list of committees meeting for the current day are listed. When a committee meeting is in progress, the words "In Progress" appear next to the name of the committee and clicking that link will take you to the live video broadcast.

You can also view certain prior archived committee meetings via the House's archived video repository or the Senate's archived video repository.

How do I get the schedule and the agendas of committee meetings?

On the home page, you can see all of the meetings that are scheduled for the current day. At the end of the list, there is a link that says "View Upcoming Meetings." Clicking that link will expand the listing to include future meetings as well.

To view an agenda of a committee meeting, click on the committee name in which you are interested. This will take you to the specific meeting's web page from which there is a link that says "Agenda."

How do I sign up to receive email notification of committee meetings?

You can receive FREE email notification of future committee meetings by clicking here and subscribing for notification. This notice will include links to the specific committee agenda.
