§1019. Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator
A. The nurse licensure compact administrator for this state shall be appointed by the
governor to serve as the single state designee on the Interstate Commission of Nurse
Licensure Compact Administrators.
B. The administrator shall be a current board member or the executive director of the
Louisiana State Board of Nursing for two years beginning in the year of enactment of this
Part and shall rotate every two years thereafter with an appointment of a current board
member or the executive director of the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners.
