§1098.12. Sale of ownership or control of hospital
Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the board may sell to any person an
ownership interest in the district hospital that results in the acquiring person holding less than
fifty percent interest in the ownership or control of the hospital. The provisions of R.S.
33:4341 shall not apply to any sale pursuant to the authority granted in this Section.
