§1400.9. Expenses incurred by secretary of state for overtime related to conduct of early
voting and the election; payment by secretary of state
Election expenses incurred by the secretary of state for the payment of overtime
compensation to his permanent employees for overtime incurred to perform duties and
responsibilities associated with early voting and the election during the time period beginning
at 4:30 p.m. on the day before the start of early voting through 11:59 p.m. on the day after
election day shall be paid by the state from funds appropriated to the secretary of state for
that purpose.
