CHAPTER 13. SAFE HAVEN RELINQUISHMENTS
Art. 1149. Purpose; short title
A. The purpose of this Chapter is to provide a mechanism whereby any parent may
relinquish the care of an infant to the state in safety, anonymity, and without fear of
prosecution.
B. This Chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Safe Haven Law".
