§429.3. Collection and reporting of statistical information relating to migration of residents

            The Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of motor vehicles, shall collect statistical information regarding the sex and age of residents moving from parish to parish and residents moving into and out of Louisiana. The office of motor vehicles shall provide a report of this information, sorted by age, by sex, by parish, and by state, to the governor, the lieutenant governor, and the secretaries of each state department annually on or before January first of each year.
