§3202. Definitions
As used in this Chapter, the following terms have the following meanings unless the
context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) "Board" or "boards" means the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State
University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, the Board of Supervisors of Southern
University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, the Board of Supervisors for the
University of Louisiana System, and the Board of Supervisors of Community and Technical
Colleges, or any of these boards.
(2) "Community college" means any postsecondary institution which offers an
associate academic degree as well as vocational-technical and other educational programs,
but which is not approved to offer a baccalaureate degree.
(3) "Postsecondary education system" or "system" means and refers to the programs
and institutions under the jurisdiction of the respective management boards for postsecondary
education created by or under authority of the Constitution of Louisiana.
