§498. Ownership of bus; determination of salary
Where the operator of a school bus is the owner thereof, he shall be paid by voucher-check stating the amount of the minimum salary as set out in R.S. 17:496 and the full amount
of reimbursement for operation as set out in R.S. 17:497. Where the school bus is jointly
owned by the operator and the school board, they shall share in the ratio of their investment
and expense to the amounts as set out in the schedule in R.S. 17:497.
