§970. Qualifications of applicants
An applicant for a license to practice as a practical nurse shall:
(1) Be of good moral character.
(2) Be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.
(3) Satisfy either of the following requirements:
(a) Successfully complete an education program for practical nurses at a program
approved by the board.
(b) Successfully complete an education program for registered nurses at a program
approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
