§971. Examination; licensing
A. Applicants for licenses under this Part shall pass a written examination in all
subjects required by the board. The written examination may be supplemented by an oral or
practical examination.
B. If the applicant passes the examination provided for in Subsection A of this
Section, the board shall issue a license to practice as a practical nurse and authorize the use
of the title "Licensed Practical Nurse" or the abbreviation "L.P.N."
